How's this for dedication!!

The pool has been painted, and was even vacuumed this week, so that it will sparkle beautifully once the water hits it shortly!
This is one of our fabulous 'Dads' of the school - we really do have the BEST parents at this school. Thanks Chris!

Mayoral visit by the honorable Mr Len Brown

On Thursday 15 November, BBPS was a-buzz with the visit by our Auckland city mayor, Len Brown.
Girls from the Kapa Haka group did a karanga and a powhiri for the Mayor followed in the hall. Representatives from the BOT were also present. The Enviro leaders took him on a tour of the school where he was able to observe learning in action in many different ways.

Old MacDonald’s Farm visit

The Junior School team enjoyed having an up close and personal visit from a variety of farm animals today as a part of their study on pet care and animal life cycles. Jack C said his favourites were the baby pigs as they were ginger and their hair felt like paintbrush bristles. Be sure to ask your junior child which their favourites were.

Junior School Tabloids

On Fridays we have tabloid rotations with mixed New Entrant, Year One and Year Two classes.
The 17 different activities on offer are ably run by Year 6 students. Each team has Year Two leaders and and this is great for developing the leadership skills of the students.
Last Friday parents were invited to come along and watch as it was held prior to the Middle School and Senior School Athletics Competitions.
It was a beautiful day and it was enjoyed by all. the children enjoyed having family and friends stay for both Morning Tea and Lunch.
