The Pool is shut for Winter...

Room 7 and Room 8 students were the last to use the swimming pool for the season.
Next time the pool is open for business will be at November's BBPS School Gala and the following photos show what will be in it!!

I have just blown up and tested the BIG BALL and it is now away and waiting for the GALA.
Here are some photos to show what you have to look forward to!!

Put together a team and challenge others at waterpolo BBPS-style!!
Teams can be adults, students, father/mother/son/daughter/neighbours/relatives/soccer team versus another team etc
- more info to follow, of course -
These photos are just to get you thinking!!
And yes... this WAS as much fun as it looks - imagine it in the pool!!
I will be in a wetsuit I think! LJ.

Trinity Puppets Easter Story.

The whole school enjoyed the annual Easter time visit by the Trinity Puppets.
There were a lot of puns and plays on words and it was lovely hearing the laughter as the students got most of the jokes.
In-between 'acts' in the puppet play we were entertained by one of our school parents.
He was very funny and it was obvious that he enjoyed the experience as  much as the students.
A lovely end to a very busy term of learning. LJ.

Cup Cake Day Term 1

We love our cupcake days!
They are now becoming legendary and it is clear that the bakers are becoming quite competitive to produce the biggest, best and brightest
- the overall winner though, is the Enviro-Group or the Robotics Group, as they seem to take turns organising it.

All I know... is that my class can't get to the queue quick enough and there are satisfied smiles all round.
What I found delightful this time, was that I had three of my five year olds opt for smaller ones so they would have enough money to buy an extra one to take home for Mummy's afternoon tea.
Thoughtfulness, cupcakes and maths - all in one session! LJ.
