Powhiri for Korean Students and their Officials:

This morning we had a very formal assembly welcoming 22 visiting nine to eleven year old Korean students. They are having home-stays with some of our school families. We were very proud of all the children; especially the kapahaka and the six girls who took part in the karanga. It was very special. The Korean students are here to enjoy a 'kiwi schooling experience' and are assimlating into the senior classes. They finished their first day today doing Maori art with Mrs Winn.
